In 2003 Tom Davies Launches his first collection after designing eyewear styles for other internationally known companies. In 2005 Tom designs Bespoke eyewear to a number of film stars. In 2007 Tom opens his first factory in Shenzhen, with a mission to change the way people purchase their eyewear. To Date Tom has opened a Flagship store and His Newest London Factory. ​TD Tom Davies is a prestigious handmade eyewear brand offering a bespoke service on all the frames in our collections. Our bespoke consultation starts with getting to know the customer. We then take a series of precise measurements and photographs, which are sent to the TD design studio where the eyewear is designed and then submitted to be made in our workshop.

We produce all of our frames by hand, so every step of the process is meticulously controlled. Each frame takes between 16 and 22 hours of close, detailed work by our master craftsmen. This ensures flawless quality and the highest level of craftsmanship. Finally, all Bespoke frames are finished with the name of our customer engraved discreetly on the inside of the temple arm.

The Style of Tom Davies

Materials are selected together with the customer. We then take photos in the chosen template frame. These are then sent to the Tom Davies design studio where the eyewear is redesigned for each individual customer. Specific attention is paid to the brow line of each customer and the frame is tailored to bring symmetry to the face.

A Bespoke design consultation starts with getting to know the customer. What do they do professionally? What kind of lifestyle do they lead? Do they have any problems with their current frames? Do the glasses slip down their nose? Or do the frames simply not quite enhance the customer’s natural features?
